Super Broca: low-cost drill bit

Manufacturing is the main activity undertaken by micro-entrepreneurs in Peru. Jose-Maria Vidal, an inventor and micro-entrepreneur, has developed a low-cost drill bit that can be used to puncture (technically challenging materials) such as glass, marble, ceramics and granite. His drill bit, better known as “Super Broca” is widely used by local manufacturers.
