The Intel Challenge
The Intel Challenge is a regional business plan for university students in Latin America and Europe in collaboration with prestigious education institutions and entrepreneurship organizations across the two regions.
Over the past two years, over 700 teams comprised of 2000 entrepreneurs have competed in Intel Challenge. Entrants come from 30 different countries across the regions, and through the feedback and support from the program’s judges and mentors, our teams have shined at the global final event at UC Berkeley in November. Two of the three placed winners in 2010 came from Latin America and Europe, taking first and third place. Teams continue to report back about their successes and lasting relationships they made through this competition.

The Google Science Fair
Google has partnered with CERN, the LEGO Group, National Geographic and Scientific American to launch what we hope will become the largest, most inclusive online science competition in the world.
Students interested in taking part may now register online at www.google.com/sciencefair either as individuals or in teams of up to three. Submissions will be accepted until 4 April 2011.
Collegiate Inventors Competition
The Collegiate Inventors Competition is designed to recognize and honor student innovators at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Since 1990, the Competition has honored numerous individuals and teams for their outstanding inventive contributions and innovative research. This year, nearly $80,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the winning undergraduate and graduate students and advisers at a special awards ceremony in Washington , D.C. in the fall. The Competition is sponsored by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Abbott Fund.
The deadline for entering this year's Competition is June 25, 2010. Entries are judged on originality of the idea, process or technology, and their potential value and usefulness to society.

The MoonBots competition
The X PRIZE Foundation, Google Inc., LEGO Systems, National Instruments, and Wired’s GeekDad will announce “MoonBots: A Google Lunar X PRIZE LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Challenge” today at the FIRST WORLD Championships. The new contest will challenge small teams comprised of children and adults to design, program, and construct robots that perform simulated lunar missions similar to those required to win the $30 million Google Lunar X PRIZE, a private race to the Moon designed to enable commercial exploration of space while engaging the global public. To further this purpose, the X PRIZE Foundation and Google have now joined forces with three other well known technology companies to offer a competition that will stimulate learning of robotics and team building while exciting students and their families about their potential roles in the new Moon race.

The Morality of Profit
The SEVEN Fund is sponsoring a global competition inviting discourse on the morality of profit. SEVEN welcomes the submission of essays that explore the morality of profit through the lens of diverse cultural, religious, philosophical, and academic traditions.
